The search for truth- Wikis

The Libraries best practises Wiki seems like it could be very useful in many ways. It has extensive postings on a wide variety of subjects including book reviews, staffing issues , and the use of new technologies . I found it rather visually boring but the information is very relevant and up to date. I can see how this is a fantastic information sharing technology, on par with the Library itself!
The Montana Historical Society Wiki is an interesting site . I love the idea of communities sharing information this way, from the study of cook books to information on special interest groups like the local American Indian populations. Again I feel it could be more visually appealing
I looked up Art on Wikipedia and thought I would share one of their definitions with you "Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music and literature. " Nice...... It could apply to blogging too.

This is a beautiful image for me. It shows the dedication and focus that can be shown when creating art. It is happening here in a really simple environment, on a street, with very simple tools, chalks and ashphalt, and is really giving a very effective result . I love the way it is being created by a child , showing how easy and rewarding creating art can be. There really are no excuses!
